Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • The manuscript file is submitted in Microsoft Word format (.docx); the article PDF file must not be uploaded.
  • Where available, URLs and DOI for the references have been provided.
  • The text of the material is compiled according to the template and instructions for filling out articles, citation format, etc., filling in the bibliography, presented on the website of the "Bulletin of the Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering".
  • The text meets the stylistic and bibliographic requirements described in the template for filling out articles, which can be found on the page "Sending materials".
  • One manuscript file has been uploaded in Microsoft Word format (.docx), prepared according to the current journal template: the title information and main text are included in the same file.
  • The author agreement / author form has been uploaded (signed scan or PDF).
  • ⚠️ The main manuscript text must be submitted in English; the title, abstract, keywords, author information and metadata must be provided in English, Kazakh and Russian.

Author Guidelines for the Bulletin of the Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering

  • The journal considers original research articles and review articles within its scope: architecture and construction.
  • The manuscript must not have been published previously and must not be under consideration by another journal.
  • The main manuscript text must be submitted in English. The title, abstract, keywords, author information, affiliations and metadata must be provided in English, Kazakh and Russian according to the current journal template.
  • The manuscript must present scientific novelty and/or practical significance, a sound methodology, results, discussion, conclusions and properly formatted references.
  • Review articles must include a description of the literature search and selection method, critical analysis of sources, identification of research gaps and future research directions.
  • Each author must provide full name, affiliation, city, country, e-mail address and ORCID iD. Author information must be consistent across the manuscript file prepared according to the current journal template and the OJS metadata.
  • References must be formatted consistently. DOI or URL must be provided whenever available. Bibliographic information should be suitable for international indexing.
  • All figures, tables, schemes and photographs must include captions, source information and usage rights. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for third-party materials when required.
  • The manuscript must include the following final sections: Acknowledgements / Source of Funding, Conflict of Interest, Artificial Intelligence Statement, Information about Authors, Author Contributions. Received, Revised and Accepted dates are completed by the editorial office.
  • All manuscripts are checked for originality using StrikePlagiarism and undergo double-blind peer review by at least two experts.
  • Generative AI policy. AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Any use of AI tools for language editing, translation, text structuring, data analysis, image generation or other content-related tasks must be disclosed in the Artificial Intelligence Statement. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, references, images, data and conclusions of the manuscript.
  • During submission, the corresponding author uploads one manuscript file prepared according to the current journal template, including the title information and main text, the signed author form and other required materials through OJS.

Copyright Notice

  • By submitting a manuscript, the corresponding author confirms that the work is original, has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere. The corresponding author must upload the signed author form together with the submission files.
  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license unless otherwise stated on the article page.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
