Editorial Policy
Bulletin of the Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering is a peer-reviewed open access scientific journal in the field of architecture and construction. The journal publishes original research articles and review papers on architecture, urban planning, design, construction of buildings and structures, building materials and structures, engineering systems, geotechnics, earthquake-resistant construction, digital technologies in architecture and construction, sustainable development of the built environment and architectural and construction education.
The journal is registered by the Ministry of Information and Public Accord of the Republic of Kazakhstan. ISSN 1680-080X (print), ISSN 2788-6948 (online). The founder of the journal is International Educational Corporation LLP.
Aim of the journal: to disseminate results of scientific research and practice-oriented developments in architecture and construction that meet the standards of academic integrity, editorial ethics and international scholarly communication.
Publication frequency: 4 issues per year. Submission: year-round through OJS. Language policy: the main manuscript text is submitted in English; the title, abstract, keywords, author information and metadata are provided in English, Kazakh and Russian.
All manuscripts undergo preliminary editorial screening, originality checking using StrikePlagiarism and double-blind peer review by at least two independent specialists in the subject area of the manuscript.
Editorial decisions are based on the article's relevance to the journal scope, scientific novelty and significance, quality of methodology and results, accuracy of references, compliance with formatting requirements, completeness of metadata and publication ethics.
The editorial office ensures transparency of editorial procedures, regular publication, open access to published materials, preservation of the issue archive and public availability of the journal's key policies: peer review, publication ethics, open access, author guidelines, publication fees and editorial contacts.
