Abstract
. Initiation of production and application of self-compacting concretes (SCC) in Kazakhstan requires not only local surveys within the framework of solving technological problems in one agglomeration under active construction, but also assessment of potential possibilities of use for SCC development of raw material base and processing facilities of different regions.
Considering that the raw materials opportunities for these purposes of the regions of Kazakhstan vary to a large extent, and the type of concrete considered is economically feasible only when local raw materials are used in the composition; conceptual approaches to the selection and evaluation of raw materials for SCC, known in world scientific practice, were analyzed and summarized, as well as the results of development of SCC in KazGASA with the use of raw materials relevant for a number of regions. Studies of local raw materials have shown the promise of using high-silica sheaths in high-strength SCC; fillers from local rock cuttings represented by hydrothermal-metosomatic changed porphyrites of medium-basic composition and porphyrs of crystallized quartz-feldspar composition; granites and hybrid rock of quartz diorite in composition with zeolite, microsilica. With their use, concretes were obtained, respectively, B 55 and V30 with rheological properties and hardening periods for the manufacture of both prefabricated structures and monolithic technologies. However, the mechanism of modification of mineral raw materials used in the developed compositions remains insufficiently studied, the use of natural pozzolan raw materials, shungite, technogenic product - aluminosilicate microspheres potentially relevant for Kazakhstan in the SCC compositions has not been studied. Analysis of known conceptual approaches in selection of SCC composite components, comparative efficiency of various mineral SCC composite components relevant for the republic and their degree of study showed great prospects for development of this type of concrete in Kazakhstan for different regions from the point of view of availability of promising raw material base. Questions on the use of certain types of raw materials that differ in mineralogical and other characteristics from previously studied were identified.The systematization of the potential base of local raw materials for the production of SSC is presented.
