Abstract
This article examines the effect of plasticizing and air-entrapping additives on the properties of heavy concrete. The composition of the concrete mixture with additives has been selected. The results of studies of the effect of a complex additive on the average density, compressive strength and concrete samples are presented. The effectiveness of introducing a complex additive was evaluated to improve the operational properties of concrete further. The plasticizing effect makes it possible to increase the workability of the concrete mixture with a decrease in the water-cement ratio, due to this, the density and strength of concrete increases while improving operational characteristics. The combined effect of the plasticizing and air-entrapping additives positively affected the mobility of the concrete mixture and strength.
